The children's author David Walliams parted ways with publishing house.
Best-selling children's author and entertainer David Walliams has been dropped by his longtime publishing house, according to an announcement.
A spokesman for the company said: "After careful consideration, and under the leadership of its fresh leadership, HarperCollins UK has chosen to cease publishing additional books by David Walliams."
Reports indicate that the conclusion was made after an review of reports of questionable actions towards female individuals.
The firm declined to specify the specific rationale behind the move, noting: "We refrain from speaking about internal matters."
A Prolific Publishing History
Walliams stands as a most prolific writers for young readers, with sales exceeding over six tens of millions of copies internationally in five dozen languages.
His inaugural foray into kids' literature, *The Boy in the Dress*, was published by HarperCollins back in 2008.
A number of his titles, including *Gangsta Granny* and *Billionaire Boy*, have also been adapted into television films.
He has published in excess of 40 works combined, encompassing a holiday title called *Santa & Son*, which was released through HarperCollins last autumn.

He first rose to fame on the television comedy show *Little Britain* and has also won National Television Awards for his work as a judge on *Britain's Got Talent*.
He was made an OBE back in 2017 in recognition of his work for philanthropic and artistic endeavors.
This move occurs subsequent to the appointment of Kate Elton as HarperCollins UK's recent CEO this past October.
